Remote Education
'Remote Education’ is an umbrella term describing any learning that happens outside the classroom, without the class teacher present. In the very unlikely circumstances that we have to close the whole school again, or a specific class / year group, then we will use Google Classroom as the platform for our digital remote education offer.
Our model is mainly asynchronous. This means that lesson content and resources will be pre-prepared and/or recorded by the teachers and uploaded daily to Google Classroom. These lessons can then be accessed at different times throughout the day, which will allow the children flexibility to share devices and work at times that suit the family setup.
